Greek Village



„EURO-Phorie“ at Insider 4 Travel

 

The whole city of Salzburg was in Greek hands – Insider for Travel GmbH was responsible for the maintenance of the Hellenic Football Federation and the care of a thousands fans.

As the official Partner of the Hellenic Football Federation, INSIDER 4 TRAVEL had organized the Greek Village, which functioned as an information center and meeting point for all fans of the round leather. The 3 matchdays (10., 14. & 18. June 2008) were the peak of this event. Up to 7.000 „Greeks“ and „Greece-Fans“ had visited the Piazza at Europark. The whole Piazza shined in blue-white; fans chanted audibly and playfully danced Sirtaki.

But not only Greeks visited the Piazza: Swedes, Russians, Spaniards and Austrians did not want to miss those greek ceremonies.

Offside this event the Incoming-Department of INSIDER 4 TRAVEL organized accomodation for delegates, sponsors, player agents and fans. Transfers into the Salzkammergut took place daily, or sightseeing trips to Salzburg, Munich and Innsbruck. Most of the visitors from Greece or Cyprus have been handled by INSIDER 4 TRAVEL.

INSIDER 4 TRAVEL now looks back pleased. Especially the good cooperation with hotels, bus companies and restaurants made a smooth handling possible.
