Peloponnese

In the east the Peloponnese is connected by several bridges with the mainland over the canal of Korinth and in the west by the Rio bridge between Rio and Andirrio.

This culturally most important part of Greece offers countless places of interest such as monuments from all phases of the Greek history and castles of the crusaders. This region impresses with long sandy beaches (in particular on the west side), close wooded mountains, hundreds of traditional villages and fishing places.
